Introdays der Fachschaft Physik am KIT
Dear new students,
Will you be starting your Master’s studies in physics, geophysics, or meteorology and climate physics at KIT in Karlsruhe in the winter semester 2026/2027? To help you get started and answer any questions you may have, we would like to invite you to the Introduction Days for new Master’s students. We, the Physics Student Council (Fachschaft Physik), are a group of students who volunteer to represent the interests of our fellow students. In addition to planning parties, and offering advising services, we also maintain an extensive exam report archive.
The events will take place in the week before the start of lectures, i.e. from Monday 19 October 2026 to Friday 23 October 2026. They will be held in the Physics Building (Buildings 30.22 and 30.23, KIT Campus South, Engesserstraße 7, 76131 Karlsruhe), and at the Geophysical Institute (GPI, Building 6.42, KIT Campus West, Hertzstr. 16, 76187 Karlsruhe). This website will be updated continuously to include the timetable and further information as soon as they are finalised.
For us as the organizing team, it is very important to know how many people would like to participate in the Introduction Days. Therefore, we need you to register! Don't worry, it's quick and easy to do, with the deadline being 16 October 2026, at 10:00 PM.
